A canopy bed frame is an attractive and romantic bed treatment that can dress up any bedroom. If you have always wanted a canopy bed frame but assumed that these kinds of unique bedroom sets would be too expensive, there are some affordable ways for you to create one on your own. Learn how to make a canopy bed out of any kind of bed.
Measure the width and length of your bed. Write down these numbers.
Cut two lengths of PVC pipe with the width and length measurement that you have taken. File the ends of the pipe to make the smooth.
Install ceiling hooks by screwing in the hooks above each corner of the bed.
Cut eight pieces of 12-inch lengths of fishing line, and tie each of their ends tightly and securely together. You should end up with eight loops of fishing line.
Put two loops of fishing line onto each hook hanging from the ceiling.
Position the PVC pipes into the loops of the fishing line. The two lengthwise lengths of the pipe hang from the fishing line loops above the sides of the bed, while the two widthwise lengths of the pipe hang from the line loops above the top and bottom of the bed.
